Esh

Inspired by the irony of burnout, Esh explores the chaos of doing too much and feeling too little. Like a blazing wildfire, we consume ourselves in our own ambition until only smoke remains. Through satire and stillness, this piece muses over busyness and exhaustion, cautioning us to not forget to slow down and be human. Esh premiered in November 2025 at the BYU dancEnsemble concert "Currents."
